…will comprise the former Fire and Police Station buildings.

The proposals are:

• Demolitions of all the former Fire Station, Police Station and Island Block.
• Construction of a Student East block of approximately 740 beds in clusters ranging in size from 4 – 10 beds along with amenity space, along with a retail unit of circa 2,500 sq ft.
• Construction of a Student West block of approximately 475 beds with amenity space, along with an office suite of circa 6,500 sq ft.
• Both student blocks will incorporate open courtyards, recycling facilities and cycle storage.
• Associated external hard and soft landscaping works.
